February, 2010 we worked at Rolling Hills Conference Center, in Calera, Alabama. The month before, the camp lost a dorm building to fire, and suffered damage to most of it's hotel rooms due to a burst pipe during a cold spell. A leaky roof at the family life center had Scott replacing ceiling tiles (below)

Here is director JeriLynn Ventling with her mom, Ramona. Jeri's husband Dan was out of town when we all went out to eat.
We enjoyed working with Jean and Duane Morford, fellow ROAM volunteers who are also from Kansas City area. We lived just 30 minutes apart before, but had to get to Alabama to get to meet them.
