Cornerstone Thanksgiving Meal

The view inside the meal tent. Before the service, it had been raining, and over an inch of water was standing on the floor - several guys got busy and broomed the water out into the yard and the rain let up - so no one had to sit with their feet in a puddle.
Three services were held in the sanctuary - the first 2 were packed and the 3rd was about 80% full. Over 600 people came by car, bus, on a bike or by foot despite the rain.
Emma and teens from church are at the punch station.
Sadie worked at the volunteer check-in table. Notice the rain boots.
These girls volunteered from the area and were assigned the pie table.
This is the coffee team with Pastor Robin and Sonia.
Earlier in the day, we worked on putting potatoes in every grocery bag.
Here is Andy standing by the 400 bags of groceries to be sent home with folks who come to the Thanksgiving service.
